PLANT TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH LABORATORY

The two main goals of Plant Translational Research Laboratory (PTRL) are

1. Improving fruit ripening traits in tomato.

2. Improving phosphate use efficiency and acquisition in crop species.

We are using a combination of both basic as well as advanced molecular and cell biology, biochemical, physiological, confocal laser scanning microscopy, "omics" approaches and genome-editing technologies to achieve our objectives.
